A donation of:

  $5 will help vaccinate a dog or cat.
   $10 will help pay for heartworm or leukemia tests.
   $25-$50 will help spay or neuter a cat.
   $50-$75 will help spay or neuter a dog.
Donations also help pay for emergency medical care, medications, food, litter and other shelter expense. All donations are TAX DEDUCTIBLE.  Converse Animal Shelter is a non-profit, 501 (c)(3) volunteer organization.

1.  Donate by Check or Money Order.  Make the check payable to: Converse Animal Shelter, Inc. for whatever amount you can generously provide.

2.  Donate by CASH.  Please DO NOT send cash in the mail.  If you want to donate cash only, please stop by the Shelter so that you can see the great work going on, where your donation will help the most, and get a receipt!  We are located at 9634 Schaefer Rd in Converse, TX. This is the Northeast part of San Antonio, just outside Randolph Air Force Base and across the street from Judson High School Grey campus. For further directions, please call us at 210-658-4821.

3.  Donate by RECYCLING. If you have ever considered recycling your soda/beer cans, please bag them up and leave them at our front gate. Recycling is an ongoing fundraiser and we would be very grateful for your donations. Many of the animals that come to us are injured and/or sick and recycling helps to pay our veterinarian bills. 4.  Donate by SPONSORING a SHELTER PARTY.  Do you want to help the shelter, but are short on funds? Here's a great idea....... have a Shelter Party. Invite some of your pet-loving friends over for a barbeque, and ask them to bring a donation for the shelter.. a small monetary donation... a bag of kitty litter... a bag of dog food, etc. People feel better for having helped the shelter, and you have a great excuse for having a party with your friends!! Then just drop off the donated items at our Shelter at your convenience. Workload permitting, it may also be possible for one of our volunteers to pickup the donated items.  Just call the shelter for details. 210-658-4821.
